Winter Chorus Concert

Dear Chorus Members and Parents,

Our first chorus concert is quickly approaching!  It will take place on Wednesday, December 19^th at 6:30pm in the Gombert gym.  Students need to report to the music room at 6:00pm to warm-up.  Parents may go to the gym at that time. 

Concert attire is black shoes, black pants (with black socks) or a skirt, and a nice white top.  (i.e. blouse, polo shirt).  

After winter break, chorus will start up again on Tuesday, January 8^th.

Chorus Begins!

Chorus begins this Tuesday, September 11th, at 8:00am in the multi purpose room. Please have your students enter through door #10. I can't wait to get started on our new fall music!

Parents of fourth and fifth graders interested in the District 204 Band, Orchestra, and/or Choral music program should plan to attend the appropriate parent orientation. Individual questions will follow the general presentation.

Identical presentations will take place at the same time at Neuqua and Metea Valley High School for your convenience. Parents may attend at any of the locations., although I will only be attending the Waubonsie session.

Kane Country Cougars

On Monday, May 28^th, the Gombert Chorus will be singing the National Anthem at the Kane County Cougars game. The game starts at 1:00pm. Students need to meet at 12:30pm behind Section 115. From there we will walk onto the field as a group. All attendants to the game must purchase a ticket. Most students earned a free ticket through the winter reading incentive and should have taken those tickets home already.

For the baseball game, our attire will be Gombert Spirit Wear. Please dress appropriately for the weather!

Fine Arts Festival - Chorus

The Fine Arts Festival performance will take place on Saturday, May 19^th, at Metea Valley High School. Chorus students should enter the Band Room at 2:15pm for our rehearsal. The performance will take place in the Auditorium at 3:15pm.  This performance will last about a half hour. Students should enter the building through Door #5.

Concert attire for the Fine Arts Festival is black shoes, black pants or skirt, and a white collared top (i.e. blouse, polo shirt).

Still Musical

Gombert students in Band, Orchestra, and Chorus are invited to a private viewing of the Still Middle School musical, Once On This Island.
